A mural across from the Tampa International Airport inspired by flight and Florida’s state bird, the northern mockingbird.

As the parking garage is situated next to the Tampa International Airport, we decided to focus on themes of aviation when designing the mural by combining natural and man-made forms of flight.
The Murals in Tampa Florida shows the progression of flight of a northern mockingbird and is bookended by ascending planes, creating a sense of forward momentum through the composition.
